ANGANWADI & SCHOOL SURVEY

•        A Survey is conducted in the months of May & June about CWSN Students from Anganwadis and schools under the Karukachal Brc.

•       —From 143 Anganwadis,around 21 students were selected in different categories.

•        —Six RT’s conducted school survey from 70 schools in six panchayaths under karukachal BRC and they selected 285 students having different disabilities.

 REMEDIAL TEACHING

—10 students from each Panchayath were participating Remedial Teaching weekly.

PHYSIOTHERAPHY 2014-2015:-

——We  are conducting physiotherapy thrice in a week for 10 students.

—Fund is given by Vazhoor block panchayath for physiotheraphy

SPEECHTHERAPHY 2014-2015 :-

—We are conducting Speech Therapy once in a week for 8 students.

—Fund is given by Vazhoor block panchayath for Speechtheraphy

Conducted parental awareness for the parents of CWSN Students.

WORLD DISABLED DAY CELEBRATION 2014-2015

               World disabled day is conducted on Dec 3,2014.

—Around 140 students and parents were participated in this progrmme.

—The aim of the Programme is to express their abilities of Differently abled children

IEDC SAHAVASA CAMP 2014-2015:-

—We conducted IEDC SAHAVASA CAMP Named “BUTTERFLY” on DEC 22,23
—In the camp,39 students were participated & 15 students were stayed at brc karukachal.

Ganithajwala is a package implemented by  karukachal Educational sub-district for the backward students who are studying in primary level to increasing their capabilities in their studies.This programme was Developed by Shri.chacko(Former H.M-SA UPS NEDUMANNY).

The programme is inaugurated by chacko sir in brc karukachal on 4.12.2014.

He gave an a one day class for BRC cluster co-ordinators regarding maths. He take the classes in a simple language and covers all the basic informations about the subject.

We are very proudly to announce that Every staffs of brc karukachal,subject experts give a full support to this programme.

From the above statements, it is concluded that under karukachal BRC. A total number of 459 students are identified with different disabilities.

MEDICAL CAMP

We conducted medical camp on July 18^th 2014 for students of various schools under Karukachal Block Resource Centre. Smt. Usha Vijayan Inaugurated the Camp. Smt. Sailaja Kumari (Block Panchayath President), Smt. Sasikala (Block Panchayath President-Nedumkunnam), Sri. Rajappan Nair (Block Panchayath Member –Nedumkunnam), Smt. Ramla Beegum ( AEO Karukachal), Smt.Lovely V.M.(HM CRC Nedumkunnam), Smt. Jayanthi S.R. (BPO in Charge, Karukachal) were participated the function.

HOME BASED EDUCATION

We are giving Home Based Teaching for two students from 6 panchayaths.

REMEDIAL TEACHING

10 students from each Panchayath were participating Remedial Teaching weekly.

We  are conducting physiotherapy twice in a week for 10 students.
